It’s time to put up some Autumn decorations. Me and my daughter have been making cut-outs from plain paper. I think these will adorn various shelves and walls in the sitting room and add to the collections of leaves, conkers and acorns.

I like to have seasonal decorations up all year, I think it helps to make my home feel festive whatever the season. I’ve always gone all out at Christmas time but when I had my children, who are both Spring babies, I started with Springtime/Easter decorations. The Spring decorations stay up over the Summer with some modifications. I’ve pretty much always done Halloween decorations but these are now extended into Autumn as I think the whole season, not just one day, deserves something special.
