I have been thinking about making fabric pots and bowls for a while and now I have finally got round to starting. I’m using a mixture of thrifted and vintage fabrics mixing and matching scraps and larger pieces from my collection. The main fabric accross the range is going to be denim. My son always wears through the knees of his jeans and I have accumulated quite a stockpile of worn jeans, just right for this project. The vessels are going to be nearly entirely sewn both by machine and by hand.

I’m hoping to launch this range at the Birmingham Vintage Fair on June 25th 2011.
