Last week me and my family, including my mum, went on holiday to Trearddur Bay, Anglesey, North Wales. This was a real nostalgia trip for me as Trearddur Bay was our annual Summer holiday location when I was a little girl.
I searched out the caravan site we stayed on, it’s still there. It’s much more developed now with static caravans and paved roads, it used to be just a few fields with some caravans and camping. The rocks I played on were all still recognisable and the smell of heather and gorse was oh so reminiscent of those summers spent playing there.
On this holiday we also ventured away from Trearddur Bay exploring many of the little coves and coastal paths in the area and other beautiful bays, forests and ancient monuments around Anglesey. We only saw a small portion of the area and will definitely return.
