I discovered UK Handmade about two years ago and I’m so glad I did as it has been a real source of inspiration, information and community. UK Handmade started out as an online magazine and blog back in 2008 and since then they have produced 13 magazine issues and developed a forum with over 3400 members. I  joined this online community of artists, designers and makers and have found it to be a great place to find like minded people, share ideas and find news on events and creative endeavours.

UK Handmade is running a campaign to get people buying handmade and supporting independent designers and makers throughout the UK. In support of this they run a number of curated online showcases each year and I’m lucky enough to have been featured in some of these including the current Christmas showcase.
