My seaside range is growing to include little boats (along with bathing belle dolls and beach huts). I have been making some sailing boats (that I took to the BCTF) and I’m also creating steam boats and ships).

I love sorting through my collections of fabrics, trims and papers choosing combinations for each creation.

The main structure of the boats is thick felt with a thin wooden dowel for the mast and fabric and paper sails. I have machine stitched fabric together and then hand stitched the boats together.

I am facsinated with vintage and antique toys (as my pinterest board shows!) and have a love of the seaside and seaside souvenirs, so I think my seaside range will keep growing.
