Last week I visited the  Rowland Emmett exhibition at BMAG - Marvellous Machines: The wonderful World of Rowland Emmett. I went with my mum and the kids and we were all truly inspired.

The exhibition started with Emmett’s drawings, diagrams and graphic work.

My mum can remember seeing his work at the Festival of Britain when she went there on a school trip.

There was just so much to see at the exhibition, lots of illustrations and some small scale machines….

I will definitely be going back, next time with my sketch book. I’m feeling inspired to make some marvellous machines of my own.
