Eloise and a friend had a camp out in the garden last night (well they came inside part way through the night and then went back out again in the morning).

The courgettes are coming thick and fast from the allotment at the moment. One of my favourite courgette recipes is a rice ‘cake’ and I made this for lunch today.

I did a bit of gardening this afternoon, planting new plants and edging some borders.

And the roses are still blooming.

I’m posting this on Monday because we were out late last night at a neighbours’ enjoying good food and conversation.
