It’s been a gorgeously mellow, sunny day today, sunshine bouncing off all the spider webs in the garden and creating long shadows this morning on the dog walk.

We went to my mum’s for lunch.

Eating outside and enjoying sitting in her garden….

….and watching the sunshine through the curtains.

I made vegetable risotto for our supper, using vegetables from the allotment….

….and I used the last of the plums from the allotment to make plum crumble, “a slice of heaven” according to Ezekiel, and certainly a taste of the season.
