It has been grey and rainy all week but today was another sunny Sunday.
I spent the morning at the allotment digging up the remaining potatoes and harvesting the last courgettes.
There are still a few cooking apples left on the tree, enough for a few more pies and cakes.
I did a bit of Autumn styling in the living room – changed the sofa throws.
I made some flour tortillas/flat breads for supper….
….they were a bit wonky but tasted alright!
You have an allotment! How amazing – it must be a lot of work. How often do you need to work on it?
The allotment is a commitment, but one I do enjoy. I don’t go much in the winter and bad weather but usually a couple or three times a week in the growing season. The allotment is just down the road from where we live, very close and this means that I can just pop over. I’ve had it a long time and have developed a system of small-ish beds and this makes it easier to look after.
